Caliph in place of the caliph. Like Iznogoud, the vizier of the caliph of Baghdad, Haroun El Poussah, who constantly dreamed of taking his place by becoming caliph in place of the caliph, Craig Wright regularly asserts to anyone who will listen that he is Satoshi Nakamoto, the founding father of Bitcoin.
However, despite the years he has spent loudly proclaiming this supposed identity, many skeptics question the claims of the man who is now nicknamed ” Faketoshi “.
This is the case of Christen Ager Hanssen, who has just been released from her role as CEO of nChain, a company founded by Craig Wright. The latter would have had the audacity to declare that Craig Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto.
Craig Wright, the Imaginary Satoshi
In this crypto-flavored play, we must first look at the different roles. We first have “ the absent ” in the person of Satoshi Nakamotothe anonymous creator of Bitcoin, whose pseudonym embodies all the philosophical principles underlying crypto philosophy.
Then, we have ” the hero “, Christen Agen-Hanssenwhich firmly rejects the hypothesis that Craig Wright, the third protagonist of this intrigue, could be the creator of the queen of cryptocurrencies.
Finally, there is Craig WrightL’disruptive element of this story. As a reminder, Craig Wright is an Australian entrepreneur and computer scientist who claims to be the creator of Bitcoin. He is so convinced of this that in his biography, on the nChain website, the latter is described as:
“(…) the creator of Bitcoin and author of the Bitcoin white paper under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto. Dr. Wright is one of the original minds behind what we know today as blockchain technology and created nChain to unleash the technology and its purpose, now preserved in the form of the Bitcoin SV reference implementation Node and Bitcoin SV.”

However, the crypto community, which has not yet fully succumbed to the bear market, is questioning these claims. The lack of convincing evidence, contradictions and controversies, and exaggerated claims are all elements that Faketoshi is mocked for.

Craig Wright, Tartuffe or the Imposter by Satoshi Nakamoto
It is therefore in this context that Christen Ager-Hanssen, former CEO of nChain, the company where Craig Wright works, has resigned. The reason for this resignation? A disagreement with the board of directors, and not just any disagreement, because Ager Hanssen claims that Craig Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto. It would therefore be “Faketoshi”, the false Satoshi.
In his frenzy, Ager-Hanssen even declared on his social networks that he had discovered a “conspiracy to defraud nChain shareholders orchestrated by a significant shareholder.”
Supporting report, all the documents brought to the file against the “Faketoshi” seem to show once again that the latter does not exist?
“12. The date of “Last modification” was therefore deliberately backdated.
13. This also shows that Dr. Wright clearly lied when he said the hard drive was preserved from 2007, because it contains websites from 2023!Incriminating content in browsing history
15. The contents of the browsing history file show that Mr. Wright researched topics related to backdated files and metadata manipulation.
16. Here are some examplesLateX software
17. Mr. Wright accessed an online question about the software Satoshi Nakamoto used to prepare the white paper: “Is there anything in Satoshi Nakamoto’s original Bitcoin paper that was compiled into LaTeX?” » (coded language software editor’s note)
18. The obvious question is: If Dr. Wright were Satoshi Nakamoto, would he ask what software he used to write the white paper? »Extract from the report of Christen Ager-Hanssen against Crig Writgh – Source: X
Faketoshi’s tricks
Faced with these accusations, it seems that the nChain management committee had no choice but to fire the CEO, claiming the whistleblower behaved inappropriately. The select committee of six people decided to dismiss Ager-Hanssen “with immediate effect”, highlighting negligence in the management of the company.
“Before the Commission acted on the findings of the investigation, on September 27, Mr. Ager Hanssen behaved in a serious and inappropriate manner, which led to the decision to dismiss Mr. Ager-Hanssen with immediate effect. This was communicated to Mr Ager-Hanssen the same day. »
A brief reference to the “Faketoshi” affair can be read between the lines here, although it is not entirely convincing:
“Furthermore, the Council received a document from Mr. Ager-Hanssen outlining his alleged concerns. The Council takes its regulatory responsibilities extremely seriously and, although it does not agree with any of Mr Ager-Hanssen’s assertions, it has nevertheless decided to authorize an independent external review of the contents of the document, which is currently underway. »

The licensee also announces the worrying situation in which he would find himself, highlighting methods of intimidation on the part of certain stakeholders.
“I am horrified to see Calvin Ayre – one of the 6 members of the commission – threatening us all by scaring people into not doing their obvious duty. I am horrified, shocked and clearly afraid for my life. It is very difficult to speak out publicly, but it is the best thing to do. I still believe in technology, but it doesn’t exist because of Craig. »

“The whole world is a theater, And all, men and women, are only the actors. And throughout our lives, we play several roles. said Jacques in As you would like. An observation which takes on its full meaning here, Craig Wright seeming not to want to abandon the role he has assigned himself. A role that the British court of justice did not grant it, leaving it to Satoshi Nakamoto what belongs to Satoshi Nakamoto.
